Operating Room 

Programmed operations take place from Mondays to Thursdays whilst non-programmed or emergency operations take place on Fridays.

The operating room is on the first floor. It is under the responsibility of Dr P. Bourel, Mr Pascal Benameur and Mrs N Jacques.

Two of the operating rooms are for thoracic surgery and three for ambulatory surgery.

Operating rooms are equipped for conventional and endoscopic thoracic surgery.

All patients spend 1 to 3 hours in the recovery room after operation.

Patients having had major surgery stay a minimum of 24 hours in intensive care.
