The Institut Mutualiste Montsouris is a private non-profit hospital participating in public service. It is located in the south of Paris, in the fourteenth district, near the Montsouris Park.
Its activities cover a wide range of medical and surgical diseases, with highly specialized teams. The hospital is organized into departments and medical clinics led by individual department chiefs.
To provide truly equal access to care, doctors at the IMM are salaried, in most cases full time, and without private activity.

The goal of the IMM axis and all its actions is to deliver quality health care to its patients:
- Skilled staff; experienced, well-trained and qualified personnel; continuing education; multidisciplinary teams working closely in care of their patients; personnel available 24 hours per day
- Modern, well maintained equipment/technology
- Constant attention to the prevention and management of hospital acquired infections including the Committee for Combating Nosocomial Infections (CLIN)
- A systematic approach to limitating transfusions
- A system of self-assessment, improvement in quality and continued accreditation by the High Authority of Health.
